We remember this famous tale of the master Rawan when we grow a desire to achieve things in life at once. We work hard, day throug
h nights and the 24 hours becomes less to accomplish our tasks.
The Enlightened master Rawan in front of his followers tells that he is going to teach an important lesson of life today.
He brings a big glass Jar and keeps besides him and starts to add small round stones until the s
urface of the jar. He asks his followers, is the jar full? Yes, replies the followers. He starts to add small pebbles inside the jar and shakes it slowly and finds enough pebbles adjustable in the jar. He asks again, is the jar full now? Yes, replies the followers. Now, the master starts to pour s
and inside the jar slowly and shows that enough sand was able to adjust in the empty spaces. Seeing this the followers started to stare each other and laughed out loud for their innocence. Master questioned again, is the jar full this time? Yes, comes from the entire followers.

awan asks to bring two cups of tea. As soon as the cups arrived he poured the tea inside the jar. The tea was absorbed by the sand immediately.
Now, if you would have added the sand inside the jar at the very beginning then there would not be space to add the stones and the pebbles. Simil
arly, if you would have added the pebbles in the beginning then still there would not have space for the stones. Similarly, the same principle applies to our life. If you run behind small and meaningless talks and waste your precious time and energy, you won't have enough time and energy left for th
e important thing.
In order to achieve happiness and peace, you have to determine the important things. Play with your kids, water the plants in your garden, walk with your wife in the morning, throw out the scraps from your house, go for a medical check up,.. Rest of the things are the
sand.
The followers were listening very carefully.
Suddenly, one of the followers raised his hand and expressed his curiosity. Master, but you didn't explain the purpose of the two cups of tea.
Master Rawan smiled a while and responded, This question is what I was e
xpecting and was wondering why no one asked yet.
The sage replied, No matter how much you feel you are satisfied with your life but never forget to take out some time for tea with your best friends.
Moral : Always give first place to your family and friends.
